How can I change how many players can connect to my server?

By default the player slots are set by the amount of RAM your server has.

The reason this is set by the amount of RAM is because a vanilla server can only handle about 20 players per gig of RAM.  The more plugins/mods your server has reduces the number of players your server can handle per gig of ram.  Having more players on your server then the RAM can handle will cause lag and can corrupt your server files.

To change the number of players that can join your server, look in your multicraft control panel for a setting named Player Slots.

To the right of Player Slots, you can enter the number of players you would like to be able connect to the server.

Be sure to save and restart the server after making changes.
