Getting help with a plugin
The first step to getting help with a plugin is to check the plugins page to see if has the information you need to get it working.
Make sure you check the server log files to see if you can find the reason the plugin is having issues. Do not confuse this with the console, the log files will either be in your main server directory or in a folder named "logs", look for "latest.log".
One common issue with plugins is formatting issues in the config files, check the article for help with this: https://vahosting.net/knowledgebase/1/Finding-and-fixing-formating-problems-with-Minecraft-yml-config-files.html/
If you cannot find the information needed to fix the problem on the plugins page then you should try to search google for the issue you are having. The reason we suggest this is because it is very likely that someone else has already had and fixed the issue you are having.
Example: PermissionsEx
From the plugins main page: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/permissionsex/ You can see a link labeled "Documentation (wiki)" near the top of the page.
On the documentation page: https://github.com/PEXPlugins/PermissionsEx/wiki There are several links for just about anything you would need to know about PermissionsEx.
If you still cannot find the answer to your question you can then try to contact the plugin developer and see if they can fix the issue for you.
If none of these options work for you we at VA Hosting LLC would be more then happy to help you find a solution to your issue.
